1. 在試煉的時光，求主為我禱，免得叛逆離主，
走上孤行道；當祢見我動搖，求顧念警告，
莫讓得失毀譽，使我靈跌倒。
In the hour of trial, Jesus, plead for me;
Lest by base denial, I depart from Thee.
When Thou seest me waver, With a look recall,
Nor for fear or favour Suffer me to fall.
2. 人間驕奢淫佚，時常來引誘；不義貨財魔力，
到處伸毒手；求讓我常記起，客西馬尼愁，
追憶各各他地，慘無天日憂。
With forbidden pleasures Would this vain world charm,
Or its sordid treasures Spread to work me harm,
Bring to my remembrance Sad Gethsemane,
Or, in darker semblance, Cross-crowned Calvary.
3. 倘若主的慈悲，寄來苦與愁；倘若生活道途，
多遇痛與憂；願我眼不模糊，看見主的手；
常將重擔交主，片刻不停留。阿們。
Should Thy mercy send me Sorrow, toil and woe,
Or should pain attend me On my path below,
Grant that I may never Fail Thy hand to see;
Grant that I may ever Cast my care on Thee. Amen.
